U-Boot is packaged up and loaded in its entirety by EFI. Once started, U-Boot changes to 32-bit mode (currently) and takes over the machine. You can use devices, boot a kernel, etc.
11/30/2016 · Hi, im trying to run u-boot as uefi- payload for qemu this works totally fine. My real target is a Minnowboard Turbot. I did use the minnowmax_defconfig enabled CONFIG_ EFI , CONFIG_ EFI _STUB and CONFIG_ EFI _STUB_64BIT. The Board has the latest uefi by Intel installed(0.93, X64).
